Children’s Therapeutic Services and Support (CTSS)
CTSS works to provide skills to increase a child’s ability to cope with their problems, develop daily social skills and help them grow emotionally, socially, behaviorally and academically. CTSS provides skill building for the child and family. CTSS services may be provided in the home, at school or in the community. Our CTSS practitioners work closely with the child’s individual therapist in order to create a comprehensive plan of care.

Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS)
ARMHS services focus on helping an individual to develop and enhance psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment and independent living and community skills. ARMHS services may be provided in the home or in the community.

Psychiatry
Southern Minnesota Behavioral Health offers outpatient psychiatry services in New Ulm.

Family Violence and Anger Management Services
Our Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (DAIP) focuses on treating male offenders of domestic violence using the Duluth Model. Domestic violence assessments may also be completed. Additionally, anger management services are available for teens and adults.

Education & Training
Southern Minnesota Behavioral Health can provide speakers for a broad range of mental health topics. Education and/or training can be provided to teachers, nurses, clergy, caseworkers, law enforcement, and to the general public. Psychiatry
Our psychiatry department offers services for all stages of life. We service children, adolescents and adults. Our team of dedicated, caring professionals is comprised of a psychiatric clinical nurse practitioner and a full-time nurse. Services are provided in the New Ulm and Mankato. For referral, please contact our New Ulm office.
