April is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker (LICSW) who has been providing mental health services to adults, children, families, and groups across the lifespan with a variety of needs for over 10 years. April graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2004 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and in 2011 received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. April is skilled in treating a variety of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. Providing Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and working with children or families involved in complex trauma are areas of special interest for April. April believes in a client centered approach to treatment including meeting the client where they are at and working towards the goals they identify. April believes in the philosophy that therapy should be client driven and directed. Outside of work April enjoys crafting, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
